I thought I knew how my 30th birthday would go. A fun party, games, laughter, and being surrounded by the people I love. What I didn’t expect was that it would turn into one of the most important moments of my life.
Because that night… I got engaged.
After all the celebrations, with my family, friends, and even his family there, something shifted. At first, it just felt like part of the program. Another moment, another highlight.
But then it became the moment.
My boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed right there, in front of everyone.
I was completely caught off guard. No hints, no suspicion, just pure surprise. It felt like time slowed down for a second, and all I could think was, is this really happening right now?
What made it even more special was the setting. Everyone who means the most to me was there, my family, my closest friends from different stages of life, and his family too.
It wasn’t just a proposal. It was a shared experience. A moment witnessed by the people who have been part of our story individually, and now, together.
I walked into that party thinking I was just celebrating turning 30. I walked out of it engaged.
I still can’t fully process how one night held so much joy, laughter, connection, and now, a whole new chapter beginning. It feels surreal in the best way.
I’ve heard people say “fiancée era” before, but now I finally get it. There’s something exciting, a little overwhelming, but mostly just incredibly happy about it.
It’s the start of planning, dreaming, and building a future together.
And honestly? I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
I’m officially in my fiancée era 💍✨
